Thank you for your kind words and for the info - indeed, it's a pretty close copy of that graphic, isn't it? After I wrote this piece I acquired a copy of the tremendous Polerouter book by Willis & Mazzucchi and it also appears in there (there's a very clear picture of it on page 155).
Apart from that altered and more widely spaced "POLEROUTER" text you might think it was a straight reproduction. That probably explains why the text around the perimeter of the caseback doesn't quite match it. In fact now I think the biggest problem is that perimeter text…

Though they certainly changed the tracking on 'POLEROUTER' for these updated versions, along with the entire script shape.

Totally agree, the surround is definitely an issue.
Absolutely worth it, it's a really comprehensive piece of work and the photography is fantastic.
